Mairea is a director in our hotel tourism and leisure department (Horwath HTL). As a graduate of DIT Cathal Brugha Street, she has over twenty years of industry experience with a specialisation in the hospitality industry.
She has advised clients on hospitality and leisure businesses / projects in the US, Ireland, Eastern Europe and South Africa.
She has held senior management positions in the hotel sector and has an in-depth knowledge of the sector operationally and financially.
Her consulting work includes:
- Feasibility studies
- Operations analysis
- Financial analysis
- Hotel and management company procurement
- Management contract negotiations
Mairea works with Irish bodies such as Fáilte Ireland and the Irish Hotels Federation on providing training and advice to the hotel and tourism sector.
What I like most about my job is working with my team and my clients. The hospitality industry is all about the people, whether you are in operations or in advisory.
