Munir M. Ali joined Crowe Horwath Indonesia in 2005 as a Partner in the Advisory Divison and currently heads the Advisory Division as a Managing Partner. He is directly responsible for advisory and consulting services such as valuation, due diligence and financial advisory engagement for technology, telecommunication, media, energy and insurance industries.
He also led a team of risk consultants in various governance, compliance and risk engagement including Sarbanes-Oxley compliance for three largest telecommunication operators in Indonesia, internal audit risk management improvement as well as system implementation projects in large private and state-owned enterprises.
Previously, Munir was a group financial controller of a listed property company in Indonesia. He started his financial management career, as a financial analyst in the Indonesian stock exchange and gained his experiences in managing the accounting, tax, treasury, financing and business development functions over 10 years of his career.
He earned Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from University of Indonesia, Faculty of Economics and Master’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, from University of Illinois in 1995.
