Event details

As banking audit committee requirements and expectations continually increase, it is critical for audit committee members to remain current on industry developments.

The year 2020 has been unique, and the financial reporting landscape continues to be dynamic. Moreover, on the regulatory front, financial industry regulatory agencies have generated increased focus on fair lending and Regulation B for PPP loans. This is also the first year that certain reporting organizations must file HMDA data on a quarterly basis.

This webinar will provide an overview for banking audit committee members of their responsibilities related to financial reporting developments as well as highlight certain 2020 regulatory focuses as the examination mill continues to churn.

As a result of participating in this webinar, you should be able to:

  • Describe the latest financial reporting developments and related requirements affecting banks and financial services companies, including developments from the 2020 AICPA National Conference, the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board and the Securities Exchange Commission.
  • Explain recent consumer compliance regulatory observations from the current examination regime.
