Event Details

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, signed into law on Dec. 27, 2020, provides the latest round of COVID-19 relief, including several amendments to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), which was first introduced under the CARES Act in March 2020.

These amendments include the introduction of second draw loans and additional provisions that may impact the forgiveness status of first draw PPP loans made under CARES Act.

As lenders strive to stay informed and provide exceptional customer service surrounding the PPP, this webinar will highlight key changes to the program for both loan forgiveness and the new round of funding for loan originations. In this webinar, you will hear from Crowe PPP leaders about:
  • The impact of new legislation on forgiveness of existing loans for borrowers and lenders
  • The process for underwriting new PPP loans
  • Our approach for supporting clients for origination and forgiveness
  • The lessons learned from PPP rounds 1 and 2, including:
    • Origination
    • PPP fraud identification/prevention
    • Forgiveness processing
  • The Crowe PPP Loan Forgiveness Platform for Lenders

Presenters:

  • Mike Budinger, Principal
  • Tim Reimink, Managing Director
  • Jennifer Burke, Partner
  • Ronak Desai, Senior Manager

Who should participate? Any management team member of a lending organization offering and managing PPP loans
