The one-on-one services provided by healthcare institutions each day serve the needs of the individuals who seek out their services. But healthcare providers and organizations are much more than these direct interactions; they are significant parts of the community they serve and have a large sphere of influence. Through increased understanding of community health, population changes, and available resources, organizations are in a better position to react to immediate needs and develop long-term plans to sustain and support their communities.

By participating in this session, you should be able to:

  • Define your organization's current approach to assessing community health needs and how those efforts compare to other institutes.
  • Examine your current approach to resources associated with community health.
  • Recognize how data analytics can be used to assess community health and how monitoring trends for change can influence decision-making.

In addition to thought leaders from Crowe, this session will also feature executives from Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and the Catholic Health Association, who will each share insights and plans for community engagement in the years ahead.
