As a member of Crowe International, one of the largest global accounting networks in the world, Crowe is participating in the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) student internship program. Four CICPA interns recently joined us – Julia Zhu Cao and Fancy Fang Zheng, both in Chicago, and Lan Menglan Lyu and Kiki Tianqi Zhang, both in New York. They’ll be with us for three months learning about U.S. accounting practices and culture. Kiki Zhang shared that on her first day in Crowe’s New York office, she felt a little shy because she didn’t feel her English was strong. “Then I found that the people here were really friendly and whenever I had a problem, they gave me a hand,” Kiki said. “Now, I think of Crowe as my new family. I really appreciate this precious opportunity.” Julia Zhu Cao also has enjoyed the new family she’s found in our Chicago office. “The program has been even more than I expected,” Julia said. “Crowe’s core values, creative staff members and professional business practices have given me a view of true international business practices."

In an effort to foster closer global ties and better cross-border working methods, the CICPA program places Chinese students within the audit departments of Crowe International member firms, where they freely interact with the local staff members as well as with clients. Overall, 12 interns are participating in this year’s program at eight member firms, representing six different countries. Visit the Crowe Careers site for more about internships at Crowe.
