  • Crowe won the Diversity Initiative of the Year Award as part of the InsuranceERM UK & Europe Awards. InsuranceERM is an online resource for the enterprise risk management field. The award recognized our Women Leading@Crowe program, which judges praised as "an impressive and compelling entry" that demonstrates real commitment to gender diversity. Victoria Ezeagbo (London) accepted the award at a ceremony in London on March 7.

  • Also at the InsuranceERM Awards, Madeline Betts (London) won the Young Actuarial and Risk Professional of the Year Award. The judges described Madeline as a "rising star" and cited her contributions to the development of Crowe's operational resilience proposition, which focuses on how our clients can build an effective and integrated approach to operational risk. Madeline also has presented at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries' Risk & Investment conference and is working toward an international diploma in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management. Madeline accepted her award at the ceremony on March 7.

  • Leslie Yates (South Bend) was named to the South Bend Regional Chamber of Conference Forty Under 40 Class of 2019. The program recognizes young professionals who are successful in their careers as well as in civic or volunteer organizations throughout Michiana, which includes counties in Indiana and Michigan. A senior manager in Audit and Assurance, Leslie is as a subject matter expert on revenue recognition for the banking industry. In the community, she serves on the board of United Way of St. Joseph County. Leslie and the other honorees will be recognized at an event on May 23 in Elkhart.
