This Memorial Day, Crowe pays tribute to those who have sacrificed their lives for our country, as well as all of the veterans and active military personnel who continue to defend our freedom at home and abroad. Typically, it's a day when we spend time with family and friends, attend parades and gather for backyard barbecues. This year may look a little different due to COVID-19, but there still ways you can recognize Memorial Day, obeying social distancing guidelines and honoring those who have given the ultimate sacrifice to protect our country:
- Decorate your yard with flags to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
- Set up a video gathering with those you normally would spend the holiday with and keep your holiday traditions going.
- Attend a virtual parade (check out what's being offered in your area) or watch the 45-minute "Parade of Heroes" special online.
- Watch the National Memorial Day Concert on Sunday, May 24 at 8 p.m. ET, which will be broadcasted by PBS. The concert will feature performances and tributes filmed from around the country to honor the troops and our veterans.
