If you’re on the streets of London at the right time, you may just spot Crowe’s London Running Club. The group runs together once a week through the city, often passing famous landmarks like St. Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Palace, The London Eye and the Tate Modern. Led by Lloyd Richards (London) and Lauren Dutnall (London), members include Corinna Durham (London), Haibo Zhang (London), Keegan Gwendu (London), Becci Powell (London), Dan Spreckley (London) and occasional guests including clients, prospects and former colleagues. They run 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) each week to a shared playlist curated by the club playing from the loudest portable speaker they could find, with high intensity interval training, such as squats and push-ups, or 6.6 kilometers (4.1 miles) without the intervals. “The club is a great way to keep fit, socialize and network in a way that doesn’t involve drinking,” shared Lloyd. “A few of us are regular runners outside of work and we’ve always entered a couple of corporate races together each year. We finally decided we should run together more frequently, which is why we started this club,” said Lloyd. Visitors from other offices are welcome to join this inclusive and friendly club when working in London.
