This Memorial Day, Crowe pays tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for their country, as well as all of the veterans and active military who continue to defend our freedom at home and abroad. "My service in the National Guard provides an opportunity to be a part of something greater than myself," said Jeremiah Kennedy (Washington DC), who serves in the Virginia Army National Guard. "In addition to the physical and mental preparation to overcome any obstacle, there's a 'Battle Buddy' system in place that teaches us how to build bonds like no other." Jeremiah recently returned from a five-month deployment, and he said the support he received from the firm while on leave will never be forgotten. In fact, Jeremiah recognized Melinda DeCorte (Washington DC) and Emy Neuman-Javornik (Washington DC) with the Patriot Award, the highest recognition given by the U.S. Government for their support while he was serving in the Virginia Army National Guard. "Melinda and Emy went above and beyond the requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act to support me during my leave."

Through Crowe’s military leave policy, the firm provides up to four weeks of paid time off to support those who have ongoing reservist obligations or are deployed for active duty. Recently, the firm also entered into a relationship with HirePurpose, an organization that connects veterans and their spouses with job opportunities.
