Today, November 11, is Veterans Day, honoring America’s veterans for their sacrifice, patriotism and love of country. Many Crowe individuals, both past and present, have served in the United States Armed Forces and their experiences have helped to make them successful in their roles at Crowe, as two of our veterans share below:
- Chris Mitchell (Dallas), Risk Consulting director, served in the United States Air Force. “There are no ‘individuals’ in the Armed Forces – you feel part of a team and you don’t want to let your teammates down,” Chris said. “When I joined Crowe, this is one characteristic I wanted to help instill in our colleagues because I know the impact it can have on the goals we set as a firm.”
- Roy Carlson (South Bend), an Information Services assistant director, puts his United States Air Force air traffic controller skills to good use directing technology projects. “I was able to take my experience in getting the job done – on time and with quality work – to the next level at Crowe.”
We thank all of our past and present veterans for their contributions to their country. For more about Veterans Day, visit the U.S Department of Veteran Affairs website. To learn more about Crowe and our inclusive culture, visit our Careers site.
