Position Summary

The Digital Media Specialist implements and executes projects aligned with the firm’s communications and digital strategy goals. This includes the day-to-day management of Crowe Soberman’s social media platforms and engaging with online audiences; enhancing existing web content using search engine optimization (SEO) best practices; and delivering insightful analytics to optimize digital marketing efforts and performance.

What You’ll Do:

Implement Digital Communications Strategies:

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging social media content daily (i.e.: thought leadership, photos, videos, original text, news, etc.) with internal (Workplace) and external (LinkedIn, Google Business Profile, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube) audiences.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop an editorial calendar and implement social media strategy that aligns with the firm’s business growth and community engagement goals.
  • Design and execute direct email marketing campaigns to promote our brand and ensure our clients stay in touch with the latest firm news.
  • Communicate with online followers, and assist with reputation management by responding to queries in a timely matter, and monitoring public reviews.
  • Research digital media trends and inform management of changes that are relevant to the firm’s marketing activities.
Enhance Digital Content and Search Engine Optimization:
  • Monitor web traffic and performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
  • Update digital content and web pages using SEO research for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
  • Complete regular analytics reports on the firm’s digital content across platforms and recommend adaptations based on the findings.
  • Assist in writing and producing compelling digital content, including blog posts, page descriptions, video scripts, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • University or college diploma in Marketing, Public Relations, or Digital Media-related fields
  • Minimum two years’ digital marketing or social media experience in a company or agency – preferably familiar with the professional services industry (accounting, legal, engineering, consulting, etc.)
  • Solid knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research and Google Analytics.
  • Familiar with basic web design and content management systems (WordPress, Sitecore, etc.)
  • Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills.
  • Familiarity with graphic design software (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) is considered a plus.
  • Critical thinker with problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Passion for digital media and advanced proficiency with major social media platforms and content management tools.
