Sarah Kingston is a Manager in the Valuations | Forensics | Litigation (VFL) group at Crowe Soberman. She has over a decade of experience in business valuations, financial consulting and litigation support.

Her career has been predominantly focused on matrimonial and other litigation matters in Canada. Sarah spent two years at a litigation accounting firm in Los Angeles, which provided exposure to California family law and cross-border family law issues.

Sarah has prepared valuations for privately-held businesses across a broad range of industries for purposes of litigation support, specifically in the area of family law, tax planning, estate planning, corporate reorganizations, capital raising, and shareholder buyouts and disputes.

Her financial litigation support experience also includes income determinations, damages and loss quantification, employee stock option and restricted stock valuations, fund tracing, and other forensic investigations.

Sarah has prepared expert reports for various litigation matters and has participated in numerous mediation and settlement negotiations. She has presented to the legal community on valuation topics and is a contributing author of “Contracts for the Family Law Client,” LexisNexis Canada, 2024.
