Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the HR Recruiter plays a key role in recruiting the firm’s top talent, taking part in marketing initiatives to attract candidates, and build rapport with external accounting professionals. As Crowe BGK Ambassador, the HR Recruiter will take part in many recruitment projects, along with the COO and HR partners to ensure that the firm is achieving its firm objectives.

Position Profile:

  • Coordinates full cycle of the recruitment process from A-Z.
  • Works closely with the HR partners to determine the hiring needs.
  • Tracks the open positions.
  • Posts on job boards.
  • Sources candidates from a variety of resources, such as the firm’s website, on-line job boards, LinkedIn and other social media vehicles, job fairs, etc.
  • Conducts phone screenings and coordinates interviews with the hiring managers.
  • Builds influential candidate relationships during the selection process and acts as point of contact for recent hires.
  • Provides necessary information to the Chief Operating Officer for the development of a competitive employment proposal and offer letter.
  • Drafts employment contracts.
  • Provides new hire welcome training to the new hires.
  • Tracks the firm’s Candidate Pipeline for both experienced and on-campus candidates.
  • Networks with professionals to maintain the candidate pipeline.
  • Ambassador of the Crowe BGK brand.
  • Responsible for coming up with recruitment and candidate attraction initiatives that meet the needs of the firm.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective and efficient recruitment processes at the firm.
  • Works with the marketing team regarding candidate attraction initiatives.
  • Responsible for providing training and coaching to those who take part in interviews.
  • University Recruitment Lead - Responsible for the planning and coordination of university recruitment events, including in-office interviews and campus events/job fairs.
  • Assists in developing marketing materials for the firm’s recruitment programs.
  • Establishes close relationships with key campus representatives.
  • Ensures confidentiality.
  • Other duties as required.


  • Bachelor’s degree or graduate certificate in Human Resources, Business, or Psychology.
  • At least 3 years of staffing, recruitment, or headhunting experience, preferably for a professional services firm.
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English (oral and written).
  • Experience with modern recruiting methods using LinkedIn and other tools.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality.
  • Works well in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
